Let’s start by saying if you are still playing meaningful games this week, congratulations! It’s no small feat to be in your league’s semifinal with an opportunity to compete for a championship on the line. At the very least, you’ve done a lot right up to this point. As I stated last week, it’s highly likely that at this point, you’re not scouring the waiver wire for a spot start. Now that byes are done, barring an injury, which there have been a ton of this year, you have your squad that you’re rolling with. However, as we know, injuries happen unexpectedly and without warning, so it’s always a good idea to make sure you have as much depth as possible in the event that you get blindsided by a sprained knee or whatever the fantasy gods have in store for you. I still remember Matt Asiata (if you know who that is then well done) getting the spot start on my fantasy team over 10 years ago when Adrian Peterson was ruled out ahead of the fantasy semifinal. Asiata rushed for three TDs that day, and I still feel thankful for him. Enough about me, let’s see who you should target going into week 16.

Colby Parkinson 26-yard touchdown - Los Angeles Rams Highlights - Week 15 vs. Detroit Lions at SoFi Stadium

Colby Parkinson

We’ve talked all year long about the volatility at the tight end position. So with that, unless you have one of the league’s top tight ends, you might want to give a guy like Parkinson a look. He’s in one of the league’s most prolific offenses and has been one of QB Matthew Stafford’s favorite red zone targets, totaling three touchdowns in the past two weeks. I was reluctant to include him on week 15’s waiver targets article due to the fact that despite catching a touchdown last week, he only had 3 receptions and 32 yards. However, after a 5-75-2 receiving line in the Rams big victory over the Lions this past Sunday, his fantasy appeal is undeniable. Don’t be surprised to see Parkinson turn in yet another solid fantasy performance as the Rams head to Seattle for a huge NFC West showdown on Thursday Night Football.

Q&A with Panthers standout rookie WR Jalen Coker. Drop him a follow. Ask away in the comments and don't forget to mention him! @cokerjalen

Jalen Coker

Caution! Warning! Adding Jalen Coker is nothing but a depth play. Coker is not the type of player that you should even consider spot starting unless you are put in a truly horrific spot in the fantasy semifinal. Despite that, and as we’ve already stated, you never know what can happen injury wise. Coker is a very solid add who’s available in well over 75% of leagues regardless of what site you play on. He has had somewhat of an emergence these past two weeks totaling 8 receptions for 134 yards and two TDs. Carolina has an enormous divisional game coming up on Sunday at home against Tampa Bay. If Coker balls out again in this one, then we can give a little thought to if he has earned some flex consideration.
